Visual Basic.NET is a great programming language for Object Oriented Programming. The .NET SwinGame library accesses the core library written in Pascal, so it will execute slightly slower than the games written in Pascal. We recommend Visual Basic 2008 Expess which is only available on Windows. You can also use Mono to develop in Visual Basic.NET under Macintosh or Linux.
