Breakout is a fun game to code. It took me only a few hours to make a simple Breakout clone with SwinGame:

Hi there, I'm Ben ... A few days ago I started my first year of PSD at Swinburne. I only just started playing with SwinGame this evening, and it looks like it's a nice toolkit for game development. Hopefully as soon as I get my head around the whole SDK I might start making some games.
